Focusrite ISAシリーズの歴史は1985年までさかのぼります。
それはジョージ・マーティンが、伝説的コンソール設計者ルパート・ニーブにAIR Montserratスタジオにあったコンソールのための、新しいモジュールの設計を依頼したことに端を発します。
そして製作されたモジュール ISA110が非常に優れていたために、ロンドンのAIR Studiosからも同様の依頼がやってきました。
これらのオリジナル・モジュールが今日のFocusrite ISAシリーズの基礎となっています。
